I’m a freelance arts journalist and theatre critic, trying to make sense of the world with words.
My writing has been published in The Guardian, The Stage, Time Out, IdeasTap, Scout London, UK Theatre Magazine (previously Prompt), The Space, WhatsOnStage and Fest Magazine. Around this site you can find various different examples of my writing, organised into reviews, features, interviews, opinion pieces and blog entries.
Writing with perhaps the most statesmanlike poise, grace and diplomacy of all the online critics, Love has made a name for herself by writing about the most contentious shows and theatre scandals in a way that no one can argue with. – Andrew Haydon, Nachtkritik
I was one of the editors of Exeunt between 2012 and 2014, during which time I was responsible for commissioning and editing features. In April 2014 and April 2015 I was deputy editor of Noises Off, the in-house magazine of the National Student Drama Festival.
I’m also completing a PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London and have a few academic projects on the go. You can find out more about my academic work here.
Finally, I’ve worked on a couple of other writing projects, which you can read about here.
If you want speak to me in more detail about any of my work, please get in touch.
