About Me

I’m a freelance arts journalist, theatre critic and editor, trying to make sense of the world with words.

As an arts journalist and theatre critic, my writing has been published in The Guardian, The Stage, Time Out, IdeasTapScout London, UK Theatre Magazine (previously Prompt), The SpaceWhatsOnStage and Fest Magazine. I also regularly write for my own blog. Around this site you can find various different examples of my writing, organised into reviews, features, interviews, opinion pieces and blog entries.

Writing with perhaps the most statesmanlike poise, grace and diplomacy of all the online critics, Love has made a name for herself by writing about the most contentious shows and theatre scandals in a way that no one can argue with.Andrew Haydon, Nachtkritik

Since May 2012 I have been one of the editors of Exeunt, an online publication covering theatre and performance and reconsidering the changing role of the modern critic. I regularly commission and edit features for the site, as well as occasionally assisting with the editing of reviews.

In April 2014 and again in 2015 I was one of the deputy editors of Noises Off, the in-house magazine at the National Student Drama Festival.

I’m also a PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London and have a few academic projects on the go. You can find out more about my academic work here.

Finally, I’ve worked on a couple of other writing projects, which you can read about here.

If you want speak to me in more detail about any of my work, please get in touch.
